We were delighted to be chosen as one of CIBC’s charity partners in April 2022, alongside two other amazing charities – SkyWay & Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund. The synergy among the three charities has enabled us to pool our resources and efforts, resulting in a significant positive impact on the lives of the children and families we collectively support.

This exciting partnership will run for three years, and is filled with numerous fundraising activities each year. We have been delighted to get involved in a number of creative fundraising activities including hosting an ‘are you smarter than a 10 year old quiz’, running a 5-a-side football tournament and supporting CIBC to deliver a scavenger hunt around the city.

The highlight of the year is undoubtedly CIBC’s Miracle Day which sees the Capital Markets trading team generously donating their fees and commissions from the day to help children in need. It is an absolutely wonderful day filled with fun and giving where all employees get involved with the array of activities on offer. There is something for everyone with spin bike challenges, raffles & auctions, a magician, driving simulators, fresh pastries in reception, aspiration sessions for our beneficiaries, the wonderful St Pauls’ choir performing and much more. A firm favourite for employees is the Christmas card competition that takes place with children we support in the run up to the day, and the winning design is printed on to Christmas cards for purchase on the day. We love being involved in the planning and delivery of the day and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to do so.

It is a truly fantastic partnership that will leave a lasting legacy on the way we deliver partnerships in the future.
